Wow!  The interest for stallholders has been amazing!  I can't believe ALL the spaces have filled up already!

What a perfect time for a unique craft market, just before Christmas so you can find that one thing that's handmade, made in NZ, supporting local business and the perfect gift for your loved ones.

A Craft Market on December 1st

We are looking forward to our next market on December 1st, 10am-1pm, 52 Martin Avenue, Beckenham.  Let's hope for good weather (this time around)!

Our very first market was sadly cancelled due to poor weather - it was raining cats and dogs.  A BIG thank you to everyone who was involved including ALL the stall holders, some of whom bravely turned up, some of them, even braver, set up only to pack-down again.  The blue sky appeared in the morning, only to flee at the sight of those black rain clouds that hovered over the hills and slowly but surely headed our way.

Never mind, we'll be back!  I was totally blown away by the support I had.  Each and every person that I spoke to was so happy to be a part of New Beginnings and were stoked to see there was something happening in the Beckenham community.  I was so humbled and left there feeling full.

I'm [mostly] sure the weather will be on our side next time - I can't imagine what an awesome day we'll have.  I'm so excited and am really looking forward to getting the ball rolling.

Two weeks to go!

I'm busy-busy getting the finishing touches done.  I managed to get a break just now because my drill battery ran flat (mid-hinge on our sandwich-board) so while it re-charges I thought I'd say, "Hello!"

Hello and Welcome to all who are new to A Craft Market, please feel free to have a look through the site.

'Who's Coming' has been updated, check out who else we have coming along to New Beginnings.  Thank you to all the stallholders, we wouldn't be able to start without you.  It's exciting to see the list grow, the emails keep rolling in.
